Jack Marsden has notified us of the sudden death
of Dan Hennessy. Dan was suffering from Leukemia. The funeral will be for
the immediate family, only.
I met Dan in the Navy, and then again here at
United. I have nothing but fond memories of him.
The following obituary was placed in the St.
Louis Post-Dispatch. His son Brian is a Navy F-18 driver and a furloughed
United pilot.

Hennessy, Daniel S. 65, of Bridgewater, CT died October 4.
Mr. Hennessy was born in St. Louis, MO and graduated from St. Louis University. He served as a Naval Aviator from 1961 to 1967. He retired from United Airlines as a Captain in 2000.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy Hennessy; two sons, Michael of NYC, and Brian of New Orleans; two granddaughters; and two sisters, Patricia Hays of Aurora, CO, Kit of St. Augustine, FL and a brother John of Shingle Springs, CA.Services: Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
