Of course your own private London Vacation Apartment is equipped with a sleeping area, living room section, a complete bath, and a kitchen. At London Apartment Vacation we offer a choice of London Apartments. Each is a studio Convertible Apartments located in central London just off King's Road in very upscale Chelsea (see map below). You will be part of the loveliest and liveliest neighborhoods in central London. Michael Caine, Anthony Hopkins, Mick Jaeger & Eric Clapton, have residences within a blocks of these apartments. Margaret Thatcher recently sold her home which was located on the next street, one block away. Each Studio Suiteconvertible London apartment has a British King Size bed located in an "alcove" away from the main living room. There is a couch, table and chairs, TV, stereo tape deck, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer for your convenience in your London Vacation Apartment. Apartment size is about 400 sq feet, about double that of the typical quality hotel room. There is a separate kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker etc. Utensils are available for light cooking. The baths have a tub/shower combination and have recently been renovated. IT IS EASY-- Unlike many London Apartment services, we will send you keys and detailed directions to our London Vacation Apartments. You will not have to go to a key pick up point. You will not have to wait outside the apartment for someone to bring you the keys. Instead we will eliminate typical such hassles by supplying you with the apartment keys and apartment information before you leave home, even if you are in Singapore, Germany, South America or whereever. Each Apartment comes with a personal mobile (cellular) telephone for you to use during your stay in London. It is a pay as you go system and receives calls without charge. You can place calls at a very reasonable rate by purchasing minutes at several outlets in the neighborhood. Waitrose is a favorite. There are also several phone shops on King's Road. The Underground (tube) stops are South Kensington a 7 minute walk north and Sloane Square 10 minute walk along Kings road to the east. 7 bus lines are two minutes from the apartment door. The apartments are all essentially the same floor plan with a small kitchen, alcove for the Queen Size bed, comfortable designed sleeper sofa that makes into a king. If you are also interested in Paris, we can arrange your discounted ticket to travel via the EuroStar Chunnel high speed train which will whisk you from central London to Central Paris in just 3 hours.
