Ah well, bloody well die like a man.
Robbed of 76% of my United pension. Penalized
by the pbgc for retiring early at age 60. The boys in ALPA voted to make sure
that if the age 60 is rescinded any pilot over 60 but under the new retirement
age will have recall rights only after all furloughed are recalled and then
the the over 60 would have no seniority and will go to the bottom of the list.
What a great country we are in.
It does seem that the same guys get screwed
over and over again. I spent almost 7 years furloughed. Took me 19 year from
hire to make F/O and 25 years to make Captain. Now we same guys got screwed
the most in the pension fiasco at United.
Guess this will make us a better person.
